Kevin Cowan was raised on a cattle farm near Dawson Creek, BC. His varied work experience gives him helpful insight into the problems his clients have when injuries impair their ability to work.
In 1984, Kevin began to work his way through school at the University of Calgary. He was accepted to law school at UBC and graduated in 1990. He remained in Vancouver for a short while before relocating to Penticton where he worked as an associate and ultimately a partner at a large firm. During this time, Kevin practiced personal injury, municipal and criminal law.
In 2003, Kevin relocated to Kamloops to join our firm. Here, he has restricted his practice to personal injury claims and insurance litigation.
Kevin has also been an active member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, the Kamloops Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. During his years in Penticton, Kevin served as the President of the Penticton Bar Association and in 1993 was appointed as the Returning Officer for the federal electoral district of Okanagan Similkameen Merritt.
Kevin has been married for 22 years and has three children ranging in age from 7 to 13. When he has the time, he enjoys playing guitar and tennis. Most recently, he took up the sport of rowing and looks forward to racing in single sculls.
