I was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan. I spent many summers helping on my father’s grain farm and working as a swimming instructor and lifeguard at a local swimming pool.

I left the prairies in 1993 to move to Vancouver to attend law school. There I met my husband who had grown up in Kamloops. The two of us decided to return here to raise our family once we completed school.

I articled with HMZ Law and have been with the firm ever since. My practice is focused on insurance and estate litigation. I have appeared in all levels of court within British Columbia.
