I was born and raised in Prince George, BC. I left BC in 1989 to attend the Musicians Institute in California and was a professional musician until I returned to university in 2003. I graduated from the University of British Columbia at the head of my class with a degree in political science with a minor in psychology. I completed my legal education at the University of Alberta in 2010.
While in law school, I had the opportunity to work as a researcher for the University of Alberta Paper Cut project, and as an Assistant Case Manager for the Government of Alberta Ministry of Municipal Affairs Municipal Government Board.
After completing my articles in Vernon, BC, I joined HMZ Law as an associate in 2011. My family and I are looking forward to becoming active members of the growing and vibrant Kamloops community.
